Farhan Azmi slutshames Esha Gupta In what may irk woman activists across the country, Farhan Azmi has come to his Samajwadi Party leader and father’s defence with a derogatory slur comparing Bollywood actresses to individuals who make a living by offering sexual favours. Following the mass molestation incident in Bengaluru, the Mumbai unit leader of the Samajwadi Party condemned women for wearing short dresses and being inspired by western culture, which led to such occurrence. It seems that we are nowhere near seeing this "blame the victim" culture ending anytime soon.
